In a year where most every event has been cancelled, postponed, etc. for our players ... it was only a matter of time before a decision would have to be made regarding our annual Ultimate Qualifier Finale. After a ton of thought and weighing the options, our 2020 Ultimate Qualifier Finale will continue as scheduled on Saturday February 6th, 2021 ... however it will feature quite a few changes.
First of all, the payouts. Due to the pandemic's complete shutdown of our bars, leagues, tournaments, etc. we are far behind our participation mark to pay out what we usually pay out. It appears that we have about 60% of our usual revenue this year compared to previous years. Due to this, the payouts for this year's Finale will reflect that as well and payouts will be adjusted accordingly.
New payouts for 2020 Finale:
1st - $600.00 ea.
2nd - $330.00 ea.
3rd - $210.00 ea.
4th - $150.00 ea.
5/6th - $105.00 ea.
7/8th - $90.00 ea.
9-12th - $75.00 ea.
13-16th - $50.00 ea.
17-20th - $35.00 ea.
Along with payouts being decreased, we figured we would alter the format of the event as well. Since the payouts weren't a large, we decided to drop the Round Robin morning event and make it a normal race to 3, double elimination style tournament. This will not only significantly decrease the amount of time it will take to complete the event, but also decrease the amount of game cost for games throughout the day.
Here are the updated bonus payouts for finishing rankings ... only real change is that players finishing outside of the Top 10 will no longer receive their small amount of cash bonus; but will still receive their allotted Promo-Nation points earned.
1. $500.00 + 50k PN pts
2. $300.00 + 25k PN pts
3. $200.00 + 20k PN pts
4. $100.00 + 15k PN pts
5. $75.00 + 10k PN pts
6-10. $50.00 + 5k PN pts
11-15. 4k PN pts
16-20. 3k PN pts
21-25. 2k PN pts
26-40. 1k PN pts
We know that this is unfortunate news, but each year our payouts are based upon a projected amount of participation/revenue and with not only the 4 month shutdown, but followed drop in participation for Summer/Fall leagues ... there just wasn't the money available for our usual payouts. We are hoping that 2021 will bring us back to where we were before the pandemic and our payouts can return to their normal spot.
The location for this year's 2020 Ultimate Qualifier Finale is still TBD. We have a couple locations in mind, but must meet with them to make sure they are comfortable with 40 players + any guests in their business at one time. We are four months away from our Finale date, but there remains so much uncertainty that all bases must be covered. We will keep everyone updated as the situation develops.
Thank you everyone for bearing with us throughout these uncertain times and navigating the lows that we, as well as many others throughout the Country are going through. We are confident that together we will not only make it through this, but be stronger on the other side.
In what has felt like an eternity, Greater Omaha Leagues has waited patiently to re-open fully and up to this point has been slowly re-offering things amidst the pandemic. It started with a quick Summer session with limited league options to test how smoothly things would go as the pandemic continued.
Our locations were very grateful for those who decided to participate in the Summer session, as many of them had felt the affects of the previous months of pandemic and shut down. We had cancelled all tournaments; both in-person as well as remote, until we knew how things would progress. We've been very cautious in our steps to reintroduce darts to our league family ...
We're excited to announce that (fingers crossed) the Summer session has had very few pandemic related issues and we feel confident that we will be able to begin offering our full schedule of league options for the upcoming Fall session! We will remind players to attempt to socially distance, sanitize, wash your hands, etc. and basically just continue good hygiene practices.
The signup deadline has been set as September 14th with Fall leagues beginning the week of September 21st - 27th, 2020. As always, spots at bars are on a first come, first serve basis as some bars fill their spots very quickly. Do not procrastinate and lose out on the chance of playing at your preferred bar. You may signup on this website through the League Info --- Join Now tab, signup by email firstname.lastname@example.org or directly messaging League Coordinator Steve Garrean Jr. If you are selecting a bar you've never played out of before, please check with the bar prior to signing up to make sure they are open and available for league play on your selected night.
All that being said, we are still holding off on some of our tournament schedule for the time being. We are hoping that we may be able to begin adding some remote tournament options back to the schedule soon ... it may be a while longer before we promote any in-person tournaments given the current situation. We look forward to seeing everyone again and having a great Fall session.
Covid-19 and the ongoing pandemic claims another event ... It is with deep regret that, after much deliberation, we must cancel our inaugural 2020 Greater Omaha Remote Dart Championships event weekend.
This is not something we did as a rash decision, as it is an event that we were extremely excited about. Unfortunately with the ongoing pandemic and a high percentage of players still uncomfortable returning to dart play, we are forced to postpone this event. We will look into the possibility of rescheduling this event for a later date; however the with the outlook of the pandemic potentially lasting into next year, this inaugural event may have to be pushed back to 2021.
We know this is disappointing news and promise to make this event even bigger & better when we are able to host it. We are all going through these tough times together and can't wait until things are closer to the normal we knew prior to the pandemic. Everything is being reassessed day to day based upon all the information available; just know that we are planning to do whatever we can to still make this event a big annual event for years to come.
We created a short survey for our players to respond to & share their opinions of the current state of darts during the pandemic, that way we could better understand where everyone's feelings, thoughts, etc. were and improve the way we handle things moving forward.
We are most certainly in an unprecedented time in our lives and darts is feeling the effects, just as all other sports & extra-curricular activities have. We know that things will more than likely be different for the next several months and we wanted to utilize this survey as one of the ways to allow our players to express their feelings to us. We may have a business to continue to run, but we want to make sure that we are keeping in mind our loyal players and trying to build a game plan for the future that keeps everyone in mind.
With that, here are the results from our Covid-19 & Darts survey.

Signups will be from 6/15 until 6/30 and the leagues will begin 7/6 - 7/9. Each league will run between 8-10 weeks and there will be NO CITY tournaments following the conclusion of the league. Instead, the money usually paid out at Cities will be split between the teams finishing 1st & 2nd place in the league.
When signing up for a league, check with your selected bar to confirm that their hours will allow you to play there ... with the pandemic, some locations have temporarily altered their hours.

THIS IS NOT A “WHO’S BETTER” TOURNAMENT. THERE WILL ABSOLUTELY BE RESULTS THAT WE MAY NOT AGREE WITH DUE TO THE RANDOM NATURE OF DECIDING WINNERS. A CONSISTENTLY HIGH AVERAGED PLAYER COULD LOSE TO SOMEONE WHO HAD ONE GOOD SEASON. AVERAGES FOR THESE TOURNAMENTS ARE BASED ON PLAYERS' HIGHEST LEAGUE-ENDING AVERAGE WITH GREATER OMAHA IN THE PAST 20 YEARS, SO THIS TOURNAMENT IS LIKE PITTING THE VERY BEST VERSION OF EACH PLAYER AGAINST EACH OTHER.

Have fun with this everyone. It's quite a bit of work on the back end to do this, but I've got extra time in the office and thought that this would be entertaining & would also give us something to talk about.
Dear NDA Members/Team Dart 2020 Players:
Like virtually all of you, we are still coming to grips with the fact there will be no Team Dart in Las Vegas this year. It was shaping up to be a truly special edition, with the planned Players’ Poolside Party, the inaugural Pink Ladies event and our 35th anniversary celebration highlighting this year’s agenda.
While we will have to wait before we have the chance to mark this impressive milestone together, we pledge to do all we can to ensure that when the electronic darting community does convene for the 35th edition of Team Dart (April 15-21, 2021) at Paradise Event Center in Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, it will be an awesome occasion indeed!
Today, NDA’s leadership and staff is still reeling from having to make one of the most difficult, disappointing decisions in the history of the organization and tournament. With all that has happened in our communities, our nation and world since making the cancellation announcement, we know it was the right action to take--one that quickly moved from being a remote possibility to an inevitable one in a matter of days--but it doesn’t negate the sad, empty feeling we have when we contemplate the loss of Team Dart this year.
We appreciate all your support and understanding. It reinforces what we already knew about our players, operators, manufacturers and partners who share a common interest and passion for our sport…and in each other.
All the best of good health and good spirits to you and your loved ones as we navigate through the days and months ahead. Questions about your refund please contact your operator for more information.

Ever wondered where you stood for the entire year compared to other players? Or perhaps how your hometown lined up against the players from other towns in the league? Well, here's a bit of a chance to do that. We've ran the report for the entire 2019 year (1/1/19 - 12/31/19) and sorted the players in order of MPR average. Categories, as usual from our monthly rankings, are "Male", "Female" & "Junior".
How do you & your friends stack up?
*Scroll through the Male rankings to get to the Female and then through the Female rankings to reach the Junior rankings.
In an effort to make sure players have as much time as possible to get the dates of their City tournaments free, we are posting the dates for each tournament prior to the leagues even starting. These dates/information will be updated with locations as the season progresses. You will be able to find the updated information on the "Schedules", "Standings" and/or UQ Event pages.
