 Covid-19 and the ongoing pandemic claims another event ... It is with deep regret that, after much deliberation, we must cancel our inaugural 2020 Greater Omaha Remote Dart Championships event weekend.
This is not something we did as a rash decision, as it is an event that we were extremely excited about. Unfortunately with the ongoing pandemic and a high percentage of players still uncomfortable returning to dart play, we are forced to postpone this event. We will look into the possibility of rescheduling this event for a later date; however the with the outlook of the pandemic potentially lasting into next year, this inaugural event may have to be pushed back to 2021. We know this is disappointing news and promise to make this event even bigger & better when we are able to host it. We are all going through these tough times together and can't wait until things are closer to the normal we knew prior to the pandemic. Everything is being reassessed day to day based upon all the information available; just know that we are planning to do whatever we can to still make this event a big annual event for years to come.

We created a short survey for our players to respond to & share their opinions of the current state of darts during the pandemic, that way we could better understand where everyone's feelings, thoughts, etc. were and improve the way we handle things moving forward.
We are most certainly in an unprecedented time in our lives and darts is feeling the effects, just as all other sports & extra-curricular activities have. We know that things will more than likely be different for the next several months and we wanted to utilize this survey as one of the ways to allow our players to express their feelings to us. We may have a business to continue to run, but we want to make sure that we are keeping in mind our loyal players and trying to build a game plan for the future that keeps everyone in mind.
