This is one of the more anticipated weeks of the year ... division & schedule release week for the upcoming season. The first of the schedules are already beginning to trickle out and hopefully all Summer leagues schedules will be released by Thursday.
Please remember to practice good communication with your opponents and that it is much easier to find a sub then it is to reschedule a match. If you know in advance that you will be unable to play a match on a specific date ... please attempt to play that match ahead of schedule instead of waiting until the end of the season. While most things have remained the same this season as last, the only small change being made this season is that there will now be a cap added to the "A" Division leagues when utilizing subs. So if your partner is unable to play and you need to utilize a sub, you will now have to make sure your team is under the division cap and can't just bring in anyone regardless of how high their average is. This is being added to protect the league from a team bringing in someone with a much higher average for a match. It not only effects the team you're shooting against, but could also have a ripple effect on the standings for other teams. This shouldn't be a difficult change, as every other division seems to work within their caps just fine. Shoot well and have a great Summer session.

As most of our players are aware from the promotions of the event, the National Dart Association (NDA) is bringing one of its large Regional events to Omaha November 15th-17th, 2019. We encourage all eligible players to participate in the events as they are all divisionalized based upon MPR & PPD averages and the payouts are historically pretty good as well. Events at the 2019 NDA Omaha Regionals are: Singles 01 Singles Cricket Doubles 01 Doubles Cricket Mixed Triples To gain eligibility, a player must have played a minimum of 48 league games with a sanctioned operator (Greater Omaha Leagues) ... with a minimum of 24 games in each Cricket and/or 01 in order to play in an event that features those games. Greater Omaha's Summer league session is going to be one of the final chances for players to gain eligibility prior to the registration dates, which haven't been released yet, but should be some time in late September or the very beginning of October. If you haven't played any leagues with 501 O/O games yet, make sure you sign up for one of those leagues for the Summer session. Those options are: Sunday 1pm Adult/Youth Doubles 01/CR, Monday 7:30pm Doubles 01/CR, Tuesday 7:30pm Mixed Trips 01/CR, Wednesday 7pm Open Singles 01/CR and Wednesday 7pm EQ Singles 01/CR. Signup Deadline for Greater Omaha Summer leagues is May 25th, 2019 and spots at several locations are full or filling quickly, so don't hesitate. Anyone in the Ultimate Qualifier chase, there is a multitude of opportunity to gain large amounts of points during the NDA Regional weekend, as each event earns you points if you register through and represent Greater Omaha Leagues. Also, if you are currently playing in the Greater Omaha Fall 2019 league at the time, you can earn yourself even more Ultimate Qualifier points; as well as Promo-Nation points.
