Breakdown for Ultimate Qualifier Series Financials
This explains where all the Ultimate Qualifier added money comes from and total amounts collected for sanctions, shirts, etc.
Ultimate Qualifier Series' money comes from a combination of bar-paid sponsor fees (minus cost of League Champion Shirts) and player-added money.
Since the pot is derived primarily from sponsor fees, the more teams that participate in leagues throughout the year, the more money is added to the pot for the finale event.
Bars pay "sponsor fees" each season for the teams that represent their location in the leagues. These sponsor fees vary from $20.00 to $35.00 per team. Of this money collected, League Champion shirt costs are deducted and the remaining amount goes directly into the Ultimate Qualifier Finale pot. Almost all other leagues in the United States keep this money to offset admin/maintenance costs, but we choose to give it back to the player.
Players add $0.50/match towards the Ultimate Qualifier Finale pot. This amount is deducted from the "league dues" collected throughout the season prior to payouts.
