Methods of Payment:
Cash or PayPal delivered to Steve Garrean Jr or Greater Omaha Leagues office
Payment: Sent via PayPal to "Paypal.me/GreaterOmahaLeagues" or cash to Steve Garrean Jr or Central Distributing Office. (Please add note to payment which tourney, which bar & roster)
Rules & Info on Remote tournament play:
3 out of 5, Double Elimination
20 rounds in 01 (Team with fewest points will win if rounds run out)
25 rounds in Cricket (Team with most points will win if rounds run out)
Everyone update your board before your first match and after your last match of the tourney.
League Menu --- Play REMOTE League --- RMT??
Select the Player Who's on Top of Your Match in the Bracket as "Home"...actual "Home advantage" will be decided by a "Cork" at the beginning of the match. Who goes first in corking remotely has no material influence on the corking outcome or the eventual game outcome because there are no darts in the board, each player throws, as in a traditional cork. This method is merely used to keep things moving. "Home" team will start both first and second cork games.
Format: (CORK/01/CR/CR/01/CORK/CR)
1 Round of Count Up (Split Bull) to determine Home Team aka "Corking". Throw one round each and the player with the highest points wins. If tied, throw a 2nd round to determine the winner, otherwise skip the 2nd round of Count Up and begin the match. If somehow a tie remains once again, the higher seeded player/team coming into the tournament will be awarded the advantage.
Games 2-4 will be loser goes first.
Following Game 4 if you are tied 2-2, the next game will again be a "Cork" game of Count Up. Same as before, with "Home" team starting.
MAKE SURE THAT THE APPROPRIATE PERSON IS SET TO THROW FIRST EACH GAME PRIOR TO STARTING. Utilize the "Swap Teams" option to change the order. It's much easier if the team on top of the bracket match controls this so both teams aren't trying to "Swap" at the same time.
If at any time someone wins 3 games (NOT COUNTING CORK), select cancel match and report the result.
Do NOT count Cork games as wins towards the match!!
Any player prematurely cancelling the match will be considered a forfeit and their opponent will be awarded the win.
Report match results IMMEDIATELY following via private message. Any team failing to report their match win, will have their victory reversed and will be forfeited from the tournament. It's not fair to the other teams in the bracket or the person running the tournament to not have everything reported and moved on in a timely fashion.
We will begin at 1:00pm sharp.
All brackets will be available on Challonge
Watch for your match to turn blue on the bracket...that is what determines that your match is live.
*If opponent shoots out of turn, back up the dart & immediately make contact with the opposing team. Many issues can be resolved by practicing good communication.
**Games do have the "Quick play" automatic start feature enabled so if you walk away from the board, it will automatically start the next game. Once you've begun a match, be ready to play until it's completed.
** Once a match is called, you have 10 minutes to begin play or your team will be forfeited and the bracket will be moved ahead accordingly.
** We are aware of some locations experiencing internet bandwidth issues. These are being addressed, but there is a wait list it to be repaired so in the mean time ... please be understanding if the camera showing the shooter is black. If at any point you believe there may be foul play of some sort involved, please private message the coordinator but continue playing. The issue will be investigated, but the tournament play must resume. Thank you for your understanding during this period.
**If there's an issue or protest due to a foul, halt play immediately until a resolution can be found. Once an agreeable resolution has been found, resume match.
** Due to the nature of remote play and inability to have an impartial ref verify miss-scored darts or darts that don't count, the "Board Doesn't Lie" rule will be utilized.
**If internet goes out at location or a technical issue with board arises and cannot be resolved in a timely manner, the team has the option to move to a nearby secondary location if available (contact the league coordinator to have location added). The only other option is that the team without internet or use of a board would forfeit their match so the tournament may resume in a timely fashion. This is an unfortunate circumstance, but the utmost importance is to keep the flow of the tournament as smooth as possible for all to enjoy. If a board is malfunctioning, remember to call the Central Distributing tech line (402) 493-5600 & leave a message. This way the board may be serviced and future issues can be avoided.
**UPDATE 9/24/18: Inebriation and inability to set up your own board does not qualify as a technical issue. While we want players to indulge in the offerings of our locations, know your own limits and please do not limit your ability to function while you're in the tournament. Please also remember that you are not only representing yourself in these tournaments, but also the bar, as well as our league system. If you are removed from your location for any reason or we receive a complaint from the location about your behavior, you will be forfeited out of the tournament so it may resume in a timely fashion.
**It is each player's responsibility that their cell phone remain charged and able to follow along with the bracket throughout the tournament. No longer being able to follow the bracket, receive calls or messages, listen to music is not a valid reason for the tournament to halt.

Where Can I Play?
Player Tourney Averages (Most Recent 90 Days)
*Player stat reports are ran in the days prior to each remote tournament through League Leader software to determine what average a player will enter said tournament with.
**Player averages only get updated in the rolling 90 day stats if they are playing in the current league or if not, an abundance of games through tournaments (Minimum 50 tournament games in previous 60 days), otherwise there's not enough games recorded to alter an average for competition. A player's known tournament average may also be used for remote tournaments. Many players over perform during tournament play, if that's the case, that average may be used to make for the best competition. Divisions for Remote tournaments are figured the Wednesday prior to the tournament date when applicable.
*** Any player / team backing out or dropping out of a Remote tournament in the final week leading up to the event will have 50 UQ points deducted from their rankings as a penalty for wasted administrative time, just as a forfeiture is handled in league play. If it's not the first occurrence, the player could also be suspended from being able to play in future remote tournaments for a period of time no less than 30 days.
*** Any player not paying the entry fee prior to the start of the tournament will have their entry + a $5 inconvenience fee deducted from their next payback + have a minimum 30 day suspension from all tournament play. If no payback is upcoming, the suspension will remain in effect until debt is paid in full + the $5 additional fee.
