 For six years now, the Wolfpack Junior National Dart team has been hosting their annual Valentine's Mixed Doubles fundraiser tournament. For the first few years it was held in-person, either at VFW #2543 or Eagles #365 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. Once the pandemic hit, it was forced to move to an all remote tournament the last couple years. This year ... we try out a hybrid.
The option for teams to either come down to VFW #2543 and play in person or register as a remote team and play their matches remotely. All in-person teams will be listed as VFW on the bracket and all remote teams will have their bar of choice with their name so everyone will know if the match is being played remotely or not. Per usual, the cost of the event is $20/team ($10 to payout/$10 to Wolfpack) and half of that entry is going towards helping the Wolfpack Junior National team fund their trip to the 2022 NDA Junior Nationals in June. Once they know their team, players are encouraged to pre-register so much of the set-up work can be completed prior to the tournament day, but the option is available for players selecting the on-site option to signup until 12:30pm the day of. As always, the Wolfpack Junior National team appreciates the support and without each & every one of you, they wouldn't be able to return to the Junior National Championships each year to compete.  For our Winter 2022 league session, if you bring in a new or returning (hasn't played league since Summer 2021 or longer), you will receive 25 Ultimate Qualifier points for each!!! This could add up to a lot of points and a chance to really climb the rankings this season. We are aware that during this pandemic period, we've had a lot of players take time off ... we'd like you to welcome them back or invite new players to the league. This is a good thing ... remember, the more players ... the more divisions ... the better competition ... the more money added to our big annual events.

 With the first annual Greater Omaha Remote Dart Championships now in the books, it's time to announce that the 2022 event will be EVEN BIGGER! We thank everyone who participated in this inaugural event and made it a huge success and can't wait to see what's in store for next year's event.
We have made a couple changes to next year's event ... first, the Team Cricket event has been changed to a EQ Mixed Doubles 01/CR since the reception for the team event wasn't the best. The next change is one that we think you will all like ... we're raising the money added! We're expecting to have $10,000.00+ added for next year's event!! You spoke ... we listened ... this upcoming year's events will be spread out over several weekends, as many players complained of fatigue or inability to participate in as many events as they wished. Hopefully this new format will help fight against some of that. Some notable monetary increases are: 1. The Loyalty Club Singles event will now have $2,000.00 paid out! More money going to our most loyal remote tournament players throughout the year!! 2. Doubles 01/CR event will now have $2,000.00 added to the payouts! 3. Singles 01/CR event will now have $2,000.00 added to the payouts! 4. Apex Male & Female events will now have $1,500.00 added to the payouts! 5. More bonus cash drawings for our most loyal players! All players (participating in at least 1 event) who played a minimum of 500 games (league/tourney) in the qualifying year (8/01/21 - 8/01/22) will have their names entered to win one of six $50.00 bonus'!!! All players who played a minimum of 750 games (league/tourney) in the qualifying year will have their names entered to win one of four $100.00 bonus!!! All players who played a minimum of 1,000 games (league/tourney) in the qualifying year will have their names entered to win one of two $250.00 bonus'!!! All players who played a minimum of 1,500 games (league/tourney) in the qualifying year will have their names entered to win an additional $250.00 bonus!!! All players who played a minimum of 1,750 games (league/tourney) in the qualifying year will have their names entered to win an additional $100.00 bonus!!! This means any player playing in a minimum of 1,750 games will have their name in all 5 of the aforementioned drawings!!! On top of this for 2022, all players who are participating in at least 3 of the scheduled Dart Championships events will have their names added for another cash bonus of $100.00!!! Dates: Saturday August 6th: EQ Loyalty Singles 01/CR Saturday August 13th: EQ Mixed Doubles 01/CR Saturday August 20th: EQ Doubles 01/CR Sunday August 21st: EQ Singles 01/CR Saturday September 3rd: APEX Male & Female 01/CR Eligibility remains the same ... all players who wish to participate in next year's events will need to have played a minimum of 250 games (league/remote) in Greater Omaha League offerings.
