Plattsmouth VFW Continues Monthly Dart Series

The Plattsmouth VFW has become one of the new hot spots for local dart tournaments, starting a monthly tournament series in February. Each month the VFW, with help from player representative Sonny Seyler, is offering players a different style of tournament to help grow participation in the sport. The Plattsmouth VFW sponsors each of these events by adding $150.00 to the prize fund.

It's first event in February was a 5.0 Capped Doubles tournament. They followed that event with a 7.0 Capped Mixed Trips tournament, in which each team had to consist of at least one member of each gender. Continuing with their tournament series, on Saturday April 26th, 2014 they will be offering a Luck of the Draw dart tournament. This tournament, as always, will be open to all players regardless of experience, skill or league affiliation.

Many players may be familiar with the Plattsmouth VFW from their highly successful annual Night Before Thanksgiving Luck of the Draw dart tournament, which they have been doing for over a decade. The Thanksgiving tournament has been known for bringing in 60+ players each and every year from all over the metro area and the VFW wanted to give back to those players who have supported them for so long. The 2014 Plattsmouth VFW monthly tournament series was their answer.
