Greater Omaha Leagues: When did you start playing darts and who/what got you into the sport? Shaun Christiansen: “I started throwing for fun with my brother when I was 10, when we went to dinner at bar & grills.” Greater Omaha Leagues: What keeps you involved in the dart leagues? Shaun Christiansen: “I have only played in league since the start of the last winter league; not quite a year, but I keep throwing, because I like the competition and meet new people in the travel leagues.” Greater Omaha Leagues: What is the most fun team that you have been on? Shaun Christiansen: “Cigar Factory ‘BeBe’s Kids’ with Matt Winters and Guy Scrivner.” Greater Omaha Leagues: What is your best dart-related memory? Shaun Christiansen: “Thus far I would have to say throwing my first white horse.” Greater Omaha Leagues: What are your biggest achievements thus far in your dart career? Shaun Christiansen: “Winning the Stoli’s 10.0 Team Tournament and earning the Cass County Dart league Very Improved Player Award.” Greater Omaha Leagues: Who do you feel is a much better player than their average indicates? Shaun Christiansen: “Steve Garrean Jr.” Greater Omaha Leagues: Who would you consider to be the best player you’ve ever played with or against? Explain. Shaun Christiansen: “Ken Rayfield. He is very accurate and there isn’t too many times that he misses what he is going for.” Greater Omaha Leagues: If you could change anything about the local dart leagues, what would it be? Shaun Christiansen: “More games and no equalizer.” Greater Omaha Leagues: Would you recommend our leagues to players? Why or why not? Shaun Christiansen: “Yes I would, because it’s good fun with good people.” Greater Omaha Leagues: Who would you like to see us feature in a future interview? Shaun Christiansen: “Mr. Ken Rayfield.”
