ANOTHER BONUS TO BEING A GREATER OMAHA PLAYER IN 2013!!!
We will be holding the ULTIMATE qualifier series for our loyal dart players to give them a little something extra at the end of the year. Players will be awarded points for playing in Greater Omaha leagues and tournaments throughout the year and the top 40 point earners that meet eligibility criteria will get to play in the final tournament. For each player that signs up each league, Greater Omaha Leagues will add $3 to the pot of the final year end Ultimate Qualifier tournament. So a 10 team four player league would have $120.00 added to the final tournament...the bigger bonus...we retroed back to the Fall leagues, so there is already $568.00 added to the final tournament!!! We have early projections that the final tournament will have between $1000-$1200 added to the pot! Here's how it works: 1. For every league you play in, you receive 20 pts for signing up, 10 pts for winning league championship, 5 pts for league runner-up, 3 points for 3rd Place, 1 point for 4th Place and 1 point for every 10 league games that you played. 2. For every tournament you play in, you receive 10 pts for signing up, 10 pts for winning tourney, 5 pts for tourney runner-up, 3 pts for 3rd place, 1 point for 4th place. League-ending tournaments will reward players with double entry points (20) So while it is entirely possible to play minimal leagues and mostly tournaments and finish in the top 40, there is definitely a chance for more points through playing in the leagues. It all comes down to participation being key to finish in the top 40. Criteria for final tournament eligibility: A) Players must have played a minimum of 96 games in Greater Omaha Leagues. So it is important that you play at least one, possibly two Greater Omaha Leagues in 2013 in order to meet requirements. Players have already began collecting points from leagues and tournaments. The rankings will be available on www.greateromahaleagues.com and will be updated on a regular basis so you can track your standing. Based on our early projection minimum of $1000.00 added to the final tournament, we have the following options for payout structures: Two Possible Payout Structures for final tourney: One 40 person tournament: 1)1st: 40%($560.00) 2nd: 30%($420.00) 3rd: 15%($210.00) 4th: 10%($140.00) 5/6th: 2.5%($35.00) Or if we break it into A & B divisions: 2)1st: 20%($280.00) 1st: 20%($280.00) 2nd: 15%($210.00) 2nd: 15%($210.00) 3rd: 10%($140.00) 3rd: 10%($140.00) 4th: 5%($70.00) 4th: 5%($70.00) **Amounts above based upon early projections, final amounts could vary** We could also do an equalizer luck of the draw finale in which all of the top 40 players draw for partners for that final tournament. Again, the amounts above are based upon minimum projections and could be much higher if the leagues continue to be successful this year. We would like to hear from each of you by email throughout the year on which of the pay scale structures you vote for. The structure that receives the most votes before June 1st, 2013 will be the one that we use. Please let us know wh Thank you for your time and remember to play in the leagues and tournaments that are offered as much as possible this year to be able to play in the final Ultimate Qualifier tournament at the end of the year. Various tournaments may be promoted via Facebook, email and on the league website so make sure that you keep watching for events.
