Rules & Info on tournament play:
3 out of 5, Cricket/01, Double Elimination Round Limit - 15 rounds in 01 (Player with lowest remaining points wins for their team) 25 rounds in Cricket (Players with most points will win if rounds run out) Everyone update your board before your first match and after your last match of the tourney. League Menu --- Play REMOTE League --- RMT11 Select the Player Who's on Top of Your Match in the Bracket as "Home"...actual "Home advantage" will be decided by a "Cork" at the beginning of the match. Who goes first in corking remotely has no material influence on the corking outcome or the eventual game outcome because there are no darts in the board, each player throws, as in a traditional cork. This method is merely used to keep things moving. Format: 1 Round of Count Up (Split Bull) to determine Home Team aka "Corking". Throw one round each and the player with the highest points wins. If tied, throw a 2nd round to determine the winner, otherwise skip the 2nd round of Count Up and begin the match. If somehow a tie remains once again, the higher seeded player/team coming into the tournament will be awarded the advantage (See Division Seeding Below). Game 1: 501 O/O Game 2: Cricket Game 3: 501 O/O Game 4: Cricket Following Game 4 if you are tied 2-2, the next game will again be a "Cork" game of Count Up. Same as before. Game 5: 501 O/O MAKE SURE THAT THE APPROPRIATE PERSON IS SET TO THROW FIRST EACH GAME PRIOR TO STARTING. Utilize the "Swap Teams" option to change the order. It's much easier if the team on top of the bracket match controls this so both teams aren't trying to "Swap" at the same time. If at any time someone wins 3 CR/01 games, select cancel match and report the result. Do NOT count Cork games as wins towards the match!! Any player prematurely cancelling the match will be considered a forfeit and their opponent will be awarded the win. Report match results immediately following via private message We will begin at 1:00pm sharp. All brackets will be available on Challonge Watch for your match to turn blue on the bracket...that is what determines that your match is live. Payout: (Based upon less than 10 teams in division) 1st Place - 70% of pot 2nd Place - 30% of pot A Division Link: https://challonge.com/14cc3vue B Division Link: https://challonge.com/uz3k1mot **New as of 11/11/17: Each bracket's Champions will earn 3,000 Promo-Nation points on top of their winnings **Tournament averages may be different than season-starting averages. ***If a player plays for multiple operators, their highest known average may be used for remote tournaments. ****If a player does not have an PPD average, either 10x the player's MPR or an new player starting average will be used for the tournament, whichever is higher. *If opponent shoots out of turn, back up the dart & immediately make contact with the opposing team. Many issues can be resolved by practicing good communication. **If there's an issue or protest, halt play immediately until a resolution can be found. Once an agreeable resolution has been found, resume match. **If internet goes out at location and cannot be resolved in a timely manner, the team has the option to move to a nearby secondary location if available (contact the league coordinator to have location added). The other option is that the team without internet would forfeit their match so the tournament may resume in a timely fashion. A Division Combined Average Seeds: 1. Jason Gressman & Gabe Ahlers 2. Upon receiving numerous player requests ... we have listened. This Fall league, we will be offering a Wednesday night Singles remote league. Players wanted to challenge themselves, finally see who was "the best", or whatever other reasoning ... here's the chance.
Here's the breakdown. The league will begin Wednesday September 19th, 2018 and be played weekly at 7pm. The biggest difference from our other traditional league offerings is that the A Division (highest players who sign up for the league) will have a different format from the other divisions. A Division will be heads up, no handicap league to actually see who's the top dog in Greater Omaha. Each week, matches will consist for 19 games (12 games of 501 O/O & 7 games of Cricket). Another spin on this league will be that $1.00/player of league dues will be put aside each match for a Champion's Bonus pot. The winner of the league will be awarded this pot on top of their normal payback!! This Champion's Bonus will also be in effect for the lower, equalized levels as well. With the Champion's Bonus feature added to the league, it gives players even more incentive to win each and every game they play. All other divisions will have a format of (6 games of Cricket, 6 games of 501 O/O & 1 game of 701 O/D). Estimated weekly cost to play the league will be $12.00 for the Masters' A Division players & $10.00 for the other equalized divisions. We will have a separate signup option for the Masters' A Division and Equalized divisions so that we know for sure which one you are wanting to play in. If the participation requires multiple divisions for the Masters' league, we will accommodate as much as possible. In that scenario, the players would be randomly assigned to the divisions and the winners of each division would face off in a Elite Championship match following the conclusion of the season to determine the 2018 Greater Omaha Masters Singles Champion. Players signing up for the A Division "Masters" level will receive double TOC "league points" (Used to earn 2019 TOC vouchers) for each match played and the League Champion of the A Division "Masters" level will also receive 15,000 Promo-Nation points. The A Division "Masters" Level Champion will also receive an additional $100.00 bonus and custom polo shirt from our machine provider & sponsor Central Distributing Co. It's time that you step up and see what you're made of. Keep in mind, spots for Singles leagues are extremely limited as each player requires their own board. So make sure that you sign up as soon as possible upon the registration begins on August 13th, 2018. Good luck to everyone and we can't wait to see how the competition fairs.
