Spring 2013 League-Ending Tournaments

As we approach the end of our Spring 2013 league season, it is time to talk about the league-ending tournaments. Players have already been notified of the date and time of their respective tournaments, but this may serve as an additional reminder.

Season-ending tournaments mean that players get to receive their payback for wins and losses from the regular season. Although Greater Omaha Leagues offers one of the highest paybacks in the United States, we don't stop there. Teams will compete for additional prize money with their league teams against everyone else from the league in a double elimination tournament. Not to be outdone, we also offer a Singles Equalizer Cricket tournament for all the players from that respective league. All players that are on a team's roster, regular members and substitutes are eligible to participate in this Singles tournament for even more money.

Schedule for season-ending tournaments:

Monday G3 Remote Doubles 501/CR - Saturday May 18th, 2013 at Plattsmouth VFW *Check-in 12:30pm, Shoot 1pm*

Tuesday G3 Remote Team League - Saturday May 11th, 2013 at Firebarn Sports Bar & Grill 48th & L *Check-in 12:30pm, Shoot 1pm*

Wednesday Cass County Travel League - Saturday June 8th, 2013 at Plattsmouth VFW *Check-in 12:30pm, Shoot 1pm*

Thursday G3 Remote Mixed Trips - Sunday May 19th, 2013 at The O Bar 156th & Center *Check-in 12:30pm, Shoot 1pm*

On a very important side note...each of these league-ending tournaments as well as the Singles tournaments count towards the $1,000+ Ultimate Qualifier Series and will earn you points. This means that it is greatly to your advantage to show up for your tournament

Greater Omaha Leagues Cleaning Up at Team Dart 2013!!

Greater Omaha Leagues returns to prowess with growing dart leagues and terrific performances like what was witnessed by the rest of the World in Las Vegas, Nevada over the past several days.

A group of eight Greater Omaha League dart players made the trip to compete at the Team Dart World Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada with a few expectations, but mostly a plan for fun. These eight players were Jason Gressman, Kelly Gressman, Ken Rayfield, Rachel Rayfield, Milton Petersen, Paula Petersen, Anthony Croker and Liz Croker.

Results:

Mixed Doubles Cricket Level 1, Ken & Rachel Rayfield finished in 13th Place.

Mixed Doubles Cricket Level 3, Jason & Kelly Gressman were crowned World Champions!

Doubles 501 Level 1, Ken Rayfield & Anthony Croker finished as 2nd Place Runner-Ups.

Doubles 501 Level 3, Jason Gressman & Milton Petersen finished in 13th Place.

Doubles Cricket Level 10, Liz Croker & Rachel Rayfield finished in 13th Place.

Doubles Cricket Level 12, Kelly Gressman & Paula Petersen finished in 7th Place.

Team Cricket Level 1, Stoli's Lounge "The Husbands", consisting of Jason Gressman, Ken Rayfield, Anthony Croker and Milton Petersen were crowned the 2013 Team Dart Level 1 World Champions!

2013 Ultimate Qualifier Series Heating Up Fast!

So far the 2013 Greater Omaha Utimate Qualifier Series has been a major success with 280 players and counting already earning points towards the final event.

Even better is the projected payout for the final event, which is far exceeding what we could have anticipated. As of right now there is $960.00 added to the final tournament and we still have the Summer league signups to help that figure grow.

Remember, for every player in each league there is an additional $3.00 added to that final tournament. So spread the word about our offered Summer leagues and the Ultimate Qualifier and let's boost that pot even further!
