6th Annual Greater Omaha Remote Dart Championships in 2026!!!
In 2021, Greater Omaha Leagues introduced it's own annual two weekend event to reward it's avid players ... this event was called Greater Omaha Remote Dart Championships! In it's inaugural year, Greater Omaha Leagues & Central Distributing added nearly $6,000.00 to the payouts to reward it's regular players for their loyal business. In 2022, Greater Omaha Leagues & Central Distributing upped the ante a bit and made that year's event even bigger by adding $10,000.00+* to the payout pool! 2026 has a projected $10,800.00* added in payouts. That number, as always, is contingent upon player participation throughout the year ... with a lack of participation, there would be a decrease in added money.
An event too big to be held in a single weekend, it will be held throughout the month of August! These will be remote tournament weekends, with all events being played remotely from the bar you select to represent. Most events are the same as last year, events will include: Singles CR, Doubles 01/CR, Mixed Doubles 01/CR, 500+ Game Singles, Loyalty Club Singles and the APEX events. Each event will be $20/player for entry costs & boards will be on free play for the event, with the exception of the APEX event which is $25/player and the Loyalty Club event which is free entry for those that qualified. An incredible $10,800.00* projected to be added to the payouts for the 6th year of this event! There will be multiple divisions based upon skills, dependent upon participation. Registration can be made via PayPal.Me/GreaterOmahaLeagues or cash given to league coordinator/Central Distributing office.
In order to be eligible to play in this event, players must have a minimum of 250 Greater Omaha Leagues' games (Traditional/In-House leagues or Greater Omaha EQ tournaments ... TOC offerings WILL earn eligibility) played between 8/01/25 - 7/31/26. NEW FOR 2024: Players no longer need to have a minimum of 25 games of 01 o/o ... however, anyone without a minimum of 25 games will be given an 01 average of 10x their MPR or a 15.0 if their Cricket average is below a 1.5. Averages used for bracketing will be your overall league average during the qualifying period or your tournament average during that same period (with minimum 25 games), whichever is higher. Any eligible players who played for competing/partner leagues and have a higher average through them; that average will be used. Registration for events will open on 7/10/26 and the deadline to register for each event will be the Wednesday prior to the event at 12pm CST. Event divisions & brackets will begin getting posted in the days that follow. Players cannot register for any events until they've met minimum eligibility requirements. Registration can be made via PayPal.Me/GreaterOmahaLeagues or cash given to league coordinator/Central Distributing office. Divisions for each EQ events (except Loyalty Club) will have between 6-10 entrants and payouts will be to Top 3 or 4 finishers each division.
** To qualify in the "The Apex" Open Singles event, Male players must have a minimum 2.4 average … Female players must have a minimum 1.6 average & meet other eligibility requirements (250 games played by 7/31). Players may play in both Singles events, EQ & APEX, (if eligible), a list of players eligible for "The Apex" Open Singles event will be released 1 week prior to general event registration opening. APEX eligible players can register as soon as list is released. Additional players can earn eligibility all the way until the 7/31 deadline. Entry for "The Apex" Open Singles event is $25.00/player. Pay to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place only 60/30/10 split. Money added + Trophy for Champions of each Male & Female category. "The Apex" Open Singles event is NOT handicapped. The Apex Open Singles event (both Male & Female) will be seeded based upon player averages going in. So #1 seed will play bottom seed in first round & so on. It could be a big advantage to go into this event as a higher seed.
UPDATE 2026: Player averages will be the highest between league, tournament and performance in another operator's system. PPD averages will now be included in with traditional league/tournament averages, as long as they are played through Greater Omaha's boards.
*** A minimum of 6 entries required for each "Apex" event to go as scheduled. If there's not at least 6 entries for either "Apex" event, the event will be cancelled and the added money will be rolled over into next year's payouts.
*** Money added is based upon a minimum participation of 16 entries each event. A minimum of at least 2 levels of 8 is expected for full amount of added money. This does not count for Loyalty, 500+ or APEX events.

If a tie exists at #24, all tied players will earn eligibility. This will be broken down into two divisions based upon averages with $650.00 paid out to the Champion of each division. This event is a reward and a thank you to our most loyal remote tournament players & as such there are no entry fees for this event. Loyalty Club rankings will be frozen for the 2024 year on 7/14/25, allowing a couple weeks for confirming participation. Payouts for each division of this event will be: 1st: $650.00, 2nd: $350.00, 3rd: $225.00, 4th: $150.00, 5th-6th: $100.00, 7th-8th: $40.00, 9th-12th: $25.00 ... FORMAT --- Race to 3 (01/CR/CR/01/CR)

Signing up and failing to pay the entry fee or pulling out after signing up will result in the following penalties: Offending player will have 2 options: 1) incur a 100 point deduction from their UQ total + a 30 day suspension from being able to earn points in addition to having the money owed withheld from future earnings OR 2) pay their entry and become a forfeit on the bracket. The ONLY excused reason for backing out would be a family emergency or a death in the family. Make sure if you commit to participating, you participate as our partner locations suffer when you pull out and leave them with less players than expected for the day.
