Year after year, the best luck of the draw dart tournament in Cass County is the Night Before Thanksgiving Dart Tournament held annually at the Plattsmouth VFW. This year was no exception.
Although numbers were down from previous years, with only 26 teams participating in the event, you would have never known from the crowd inside the venue. The tournament was widely viewed as another great success. We would like to thank all of the loyal players and the Plattsmouth VFW for once again allowing us to use their establishment for the tournament. This year we saw people from all over the area to compete. Murdock, Louisville, Beaver Lake, Omaha, Plattsmouth, and Bellevue were all represented. The top placing teams were as follow:
5th Place: Aaron Halagarda (Plattsmouth, NE) & Corey McCormick (Bellevue, NE)
4th Place: Carol Durham (Beaver Lake, NE) & John Williams (Plattsmouth, NE)
3rd Place: Al Baburek (Plattsmouth, NE) & Rudy Smith (Omaha, NE)
2nd Place: Justin Craig (Murdock, NE) & Frank Hintze (Plattsmouth, NE)
Champions: Mike Bashus (Plattsmouth, NE) & Ike Kyles (Omaha, NE)
