Cigar Factory Hosts Another Successful Tournament

On May 7^th, 2010 The Cigar Factory Bar in Plattsmouth, Nebraska hosted yet another successful Friday night Luck of the Draw Dart Tournament. 14 teams battled it out over the course of the night, but in the end it was a team from the loser’s bracket that took the gold.

The Plattsmouth Pool League Banquet and tournament, held Sunday March 28th, 2010 at The Country Bar was a huge success. Country Bar provided a large food spread for the players and their guests to enjoy. On the menu was Sloppy Joes, Ham loaf, Nachos, Chili, and chips among other things.

All teams were present and the League Champions, Country Bar "Bertie's Birds" were awarded their plaque and medallions and were ready to take home the tournament championship on their home turf. The dominant league champions, who were lead by the #1 and #2 players in the league, Jerry & Matt Coen, respectively, were confident in their abilities to run through the tournament.

It's that time again, when we at Greater Omaha Leagues are forming new leagues for darts and pool. If you want to join in the fun, we are looking for people of all skill levels and experience for our leagues. Come out and support your favorite location and represent them in the Spring season. The bars are more than happy to have as many people as they can represent them and it is up to you. Each bar has sign up sheets behind the bar and all you have to do is ask for one.

Plattsmouth VFW Xmas Party Fun For All!

Saturday, December 26th, 2009 was the date set for the Plattsmouth VFW's Dart League Christmas Party. There was a decent turnout even though the weather dealt a tough hand. The VFW had a Luck of the Draw Dart Tournament in which 10 teams played and had a great time.
